iPhone 18 Pro colors revealed: Exclusive 2026 lineup details
Apple is planning a color refresh for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup in 2026, with "Dark Cherry" as the standout new option. Details come from supply chain sources.

Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in 2026 with a refreshed color lineup headlined by a new shade called "Dark Cherry". This information comes from a source familiar with Apple's supply chain, previously reliable on iPhone color announcements. The change follows Apple's annual strategy of updating one key color in the Pro series. This year, the new tone would replace the vibrant "Cosmic Orange" from the iPhone 17 Pro.
The "Dark Cherry" color won’t be as bold as its predecessor, but it will still stand out. According to the report, the shade leans more toward deep wine than bright fruit red. This suggests a shift toward a more refined, premium aesthetic. Our source confirms Apple is using Pantone 6076 internally for this model. As usual, current colors like Cosmic Orange are expected to be discontinued.
Besides Dark Cherry, Apple is testing three other color options for the Pro lineup. One is a "Light Blue", similar to the current "Mist Blue" on the base iPhone 17, with Pantone 2121. Another is a dark gray, labeled Pantone 426C. A silver variant, matching Pantone 427C, is also in development and would resemble the current generation’s finish.
These colors are still in development. The iPhone 18 Pro hasn’t entered mass production, so Apple could still change or drop one of the options. In past years, prototype colors like black or steel gray were ultimately not released. Apple typically offers three to four Pro colors but doesn’t always keep all variants until launch.
Renders were created using the Pantone codes provided. Final appearance may vary slightly due to materials and lighting conditions. Apple usually confirms official colors during its launch event, expected in September 2026.
The "Dark Cherry" color won’t be as bold as its predecessor, but it will still stand out.
