Samsung expands Galaxy S26 features to other models with One UI 8.5
Several software features exclusive to the Galaxy S26 will soon be available on more Galaxy devices thanks to the One UI 8.5 beta, benefiting the community.

Samsung announced that several software features previously exclusive to the Galaxy S26 will soon be accessible on other Galaxy models. This comes after a leak from the One UI 8.5 beta, which shows these features will reach various devices, though not all. The update aims to enhance user experience across more phones.
One of the features that will no longer be exclusive is AI-powered call screening. This function allows a virtual assistant to answer calls on our behalf, helping to avoid spam or unwanted calls. It displays a live transcript on the screen and offers options to reject or answer.
Additionally, Creative Studio and Photo Assist, AI-based tools for editing images and videos, creating custom stickers, and more, will be expanded to other Galaxy models. Samsung will also release an audio draft feature that removes background noise from recordings and videos, making it available on more devices.
Finally, the AI selection feature, which lets users interact with the screen to access extra functions like translating text or creating GIFs, will also be expanded. Although Samsung hasn't confirmed specific models, it's expected these features will arrive on Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy S25 and S24 lines with the One UI 8.5 update.
