The one-minute trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus was unveiled during the Dragon Ball panel at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 in Los Angeles. This teaser, titled "Super Gekitou," aims to excite fans with an enhanced version of iconic scenes, promising a fall 2026 premiere. As the trailer ends, a glimpse of Frieza's resurrection in his first form is shown, though no details are given on how it fits into the story.

According to an official description on the Dragon Ball website, "the intense clash between Goku and Beerus is brought to life with heightened visuals and action, thanks to the ENHANCED edition." The trailer also hints at a new, powerful foe that will face Goku, building anticipation for the series.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus was announced earlier this year during the franchise’s 40th anniversary celebration, as an "enhanced" retelling of Goku’s battles with Beerus, the God of Destruction. The series promises a story more aligned with Akira Toriyama’s original manga, with redrawn visuals and new content. Executive producer Akio Iyoku emphasized that Beerus is an unpredictable and awe-inspiring god, and that the production team is working tirelessly to showcase his strength with the latest visual techniques.

The series does not yet have an official release date but is scheduled to premiere this fall. Fans can also check out the surprise trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 and explore the full Dragon Ball timeline for more context.
