Luis Brandoni filmed all his scenes for Nada's second season before passing
Just days after his death, it was confirmed that the actor completed his role in the series, leaving a lasting legacy.

Following the sad news of Luis Brandoni's passing, creators Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat confirmed that the actor managed to film all his scenes for the upcoming second season of Nada. The series, now titled "Todo," is currently in post-production and will feature Brandoni reprising his role as food critic Manuel Tamayo Prats. His scenes were shot in 2025 under strict secrecy, making them some of his final works to be completed and shared with audiences.
The filmmakers, who have collaborated with Brandoni on numerous projects over the last decade, expressed their admiration for working with him and highlighted what his presence meant in their productions. Besides recalling his talent and warmth, they shared details about his posthumous appearances, including a special role in the upcoming fourth season of El encargado, premiering on Disney+ in May. In that series, Brandoni played the character of Polaco, a memorable figure who lives in Barrancas de Belgrano with his dog, Le Pera.
In the sequel to Nada, which will shift its setting to New York, Brandoni will return to the cast in a role he filmed in secret. The story will follow Manuel Tamayo Prats navigating a world of luxury and abundance, contrasting with his past in Buenos Aires. The series will also feature Majo Cabrera and a special appearance by Robert De Niro as the narrator and friend of the protagonist.
This final work of Brandoni, along with his participation in El encargado, showcases his dedication to his craft and his lasting impact on Argentine television and cinema. Fans and colleagues value that, in his last days, he was able to leave behind a final gift—scenes that will surely be remembered for his talent and humanity.
The actor managed to film all his scenes in 2025, in total secrecy, leaving a final legacy for the community.
