New Images Released for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse
Sony Pictures unveiled four official stills and new footage from the upcoming animated Spider-Man film. The movie concludes the Oscar-winning trilogy.

Sony Pictures released four new official images from "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse", alongside exclusive footage shown at CinemaCon 2026. The film is the final chapter in the Oscar-winning animated trilogy that began with "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" (2018) and continued with "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" (2023).

Directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, with a story by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham, the movie preserves the groundbreaking visual style that redefined animated superhero films. The new stills depict Miles Morales navigating surreal, fragmented dimensions, emphasizing his emotional and physical isolation.

The story follows Miles as he is hunted by Miguel O’Hara’s Spider Society and cut off from his allies. With his family in danger and his world fractured, he must cross unstable realms of time and space. Every choice risks altering the balance of the multiverse forever.

"Hunted by Miguel O’Hara’s Spider Society and betrayed by his friends, Miles finds himself in the darkest corners of the Spider-Verse in search of a way home", states the official synopsis. His mission becomes a desperate race to protect the people and realities he loves most.

The CinemaCon 2026 preview highlighted interdimensional action sequences, each rendered with distinct artistic styles. The footage confirmed the film will push the technical and narrative boundaries of the franchise. The hybrid animation blends 2D and 3D techniques for a dynamic, expressive look.
"Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" is set to premiere in theaters on June 18, 2027. The release date marks the return of one of modern animation’s most acclaimed sagas. The audience remains highly engaged, eager for the conclusion of a landmark superhero trilogy.
